Inconsequential

I am not a part of your perfect little world
It makes no difference if I'm ignored
For even if I died tomorrow
No one important would feel any sorrow

Those who mourned me
Would only for themselves feel sorry
Not for my life's torment
Would they all lament

I only matter if I'm doing something to help them
Like when I'm there when they have no one
But when I'm in need and I have no one there
I'm deserted and no one cares

I offer my all to all of you
But none of it means anything to you
I am inconsequential
I don't matter at all
